Terms of Service
Last updated: July 4, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Property Armor website and your request for a Home Protection Assessment or membership services. By using this site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms.
Our Service
Property Armor provides scheduled preventive home maintenance, visual property assessments, minor repair labor within defined service limits, documentation, and separately quoted repair work for homeowners in La Porte County and Porter County, Indiana.
Home Protection Assessment
- The Home Protection Assessment is offered for $149 and includes an exterior and interior visual review, a maintenance-risk checklist, a small-repair priority list, and a recommended membership.
- The assessment is a visual, non-invasive review based on contractor judgment. It is not a code inspection, engineering evaluation, or warranty of the property's condition.
- The $149 assessment fee may be credited toward enrollment if you join a Property Armor membership within 14 days of the assessment, subject to the terms provided at the time of service.
Memberships
- Membership plans are billed monthly, with visits scheduled quarterly (or monthly on Estate Defense).
- Each plan includes a defined amount of scheduled labor time per visit. Unused time does not roll over or bank between visits.
- Materials, parts, fixtures, and specialty products are billed separately.
- Larger repairs, and work that exceeds the scheduled visit time, requires specialty trades, needs permit-level review, or involves structural concerns, are evaluated and quoted as separate projects.
- Specialty trade work (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, structural, or permit-level work) may require separate coordination with the appropriate trade.
- Emergency response is not guaranteed. Urgent issues may need a separate emergency provider or separate coordination.
Payments and Cancellation
Assessment fees and membership payments are due as described at the time of scheduling or enrollment. Membership cancellation and renewal terms are set out in the membership service agreement you receive before your first membership visit. Any statutory right to cancel that applies under Indiana law will be honored.
Scheduling and Access
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property for scheduled visits and to disclose known hazards. Visits may be rescheduled due to weather, safety, or access conditions.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Services are provided on a reasonable-care basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Property Armor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Property Armor does not guarantee that scheduled maintenance will prevent all future damage, failure, or repair needs.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
